Mares

Our mares have gone through the same rigorous sifting process as our stallions and have been chosen for their beauty, correct conformation and sweet dispositions. All of our mares will be proven under saddle before being selected for our broodmare band. All of our broodmares are double-registered in Brazil and USA.

Natural cowsense is one of the most valued traits for us in the Marchadore breed. Our mares are ridden on cows in working situations before heading to the broodmare band. One of our upcoming mares, Brava, is showing that innate ability as shown in this video. Watch Brava in her first time working with cattle.

Tapixaba

1998 Pinto Mare is as tough and gritty as she is pretty. Her great bone, strong feet and endurance are equalled only by her kind disposition and lovely markings. Her offspring are stunning and can be seen on our foals page. Her 2008 chestnut tobiano colt via embryo transfer foal by Abracio do Lucero can be seen on our foals page also. Registered in Brazil and USA

Janella

We imported this lovely 2007 bay mare in 2008. She is a full sister to 4 Seasons Legado and is a product of our international breeding program as we owned both her sire and dam in Brazil and imported her when she 8 months old. Janella will be started under saddle next year in ranch and cattle work with the goal of bringing her into our broodmare band.

1995 Buckskin Mare is a good example of the Marchador conformation with her long, sloping shoulder, short back, strong loins with great bone and tough, well shaped feet. Proven broodmare, she throws her lovely dispostion on her foals. Mona Lisa threw a buckskin filly Abracio do Lucero in 2008. Daughter Annilisa pictured below.
